Cejar Lagoon, Eyes of the Salt Flat & Tebinquinche Lagoon + Village of Toconao and Chaxa Lagoon
Immerse yourself in the turquoise colours of the highlands, discovers pools of fresh water, and enjoy the local culture in Toconao, as you capture memories only of the Atacama Desert.
Morning – Cejar Lagoon and Eyes of the Salt Flat
- Early departure from the hotel in a private vehicle.
- Arrival to the Laguna Cejar, famous for its intense turquoise colour and high salinity that allows you to float without effort.
- Time for a bath, and pictures with the landscape of the Salar de Atacama as a background.
- Transfer to the enigmatic Eyes of the Salar, two pools, circular of fresh water in the middle of the desert.
- Short stop to admire your training and to take photographs.
- Then towards the Laguna Tebinquinche, where we will hike relaxed by its shores to observe birds from the plateau and reflections in the water.
Noon
- Lunch in a restaurant in the community of Toconao to promote the local economy.
Late - Village of Toconao, Gardens Toconao and Laguna Chaxa
- Visit to church of toconao and orchards of toconao accompanied by a local guide who will tell us about its history.
- Continue to the laguna chaxa to see the formations geologicas of the salar de atacama, his accounts of salt water, the flamingos, and birds that inhabit the area.
- Return to San Pedro de Atacama at the end of the afternoon.
